A soap newcomer who appeared on Corriedale with mysterious connections to Emmerdale and Coronation Street has left viewers in a frenzy.
Jodie emerged as an enigmatic woman bound in the rear of a van during the special hour-long crossover episode on Monday (January 5).
The dramatic episode took a startling twist when the driver was revealed to be none other than former Emmerdale character Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough).
Viewers will recall Graham was apparently murdered in a whodunnit storyline back in 2020, but in Corriedale, he was confirmed to be alive as he conversed on the phone with an unknown individual, observing as a hospitalised Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) discussed his injuries with nurses following the devastating multi-vehicle crash.
Joe mentioned missing Jodie, who had escaped and vanished into the woodland before sustaining injuries, reports the Daily Star.

When a tattoo on her wrist appeared on screen, it appeared to suggest a link to Coronation Street’s Shona Platt (Julia Goulding).

The camera moved from Jodie’s tattoo to an unsuspecting Shona’s marking on her back, before she was spotted with David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) at the same hospital. The tattoos appeared remarkably similar, but are they connected?
Viewers are convinced they’ve worked out who Jodie truly is, and how she’s connected to Shona.
Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: “Jodie is gonna be Shona’s sister isn’t she #Corriedale.”
A second social media user posted: “Wait who’s that girl with the tattoo like Shona’s? Has she got a sister?”.
A third fan commented: “Jodie is related to Shona? ? #corriedale”.

Another viewer responded: “I kept thinking she looked like Shona before the tattoo camera work.”
Whilst Jodie’s backstory remains unexplored, fans may recognise Corrie newcomer Olivia Frances Brown from her appearances in TV series Boiling Point, as well as thriller The Gathering.
She’s also a jazz vocalist, recognised for her debut single “Shade of Red”.
Olivia has amassed 17,900 followers on Instagram, with numerous fans interacting with her regular updates. Her bio states: “Probably singing jazz standards somewhere.”
The actress is in a loving relationship with award-winning actor James Nelson Joyce.
