Garth Brooks, country music icon teases 2026 tour: ‘I have to take the music to the people’

Garth Brooks fans prepare for a potentially epic 2026.

The “Friends and Low Places” singer shared on his Instagram Story on Tuesday a blog on his official website in which he teased new music and a tour.

“I’m an artist, I HAVE to make music,” Brooks was quoted as saying on the site. “And I’m an entertainer, so I HAVE to take the music to the people.”

The country music legend said, “nothing’s off the table.”

“My bride is touring through the first half of the year,” Brooks said, of Trisha Yearwood‘s upcoming tour. “Then we will see what may be waiting for us in the second half.”

Brooks is attached to two major shows.

He’ll be in Milwaukee for Summerfest on June 16 and 17.

On June 27, Brooks will headline Hyde Park, joined by special guests Ashley McBryde and Zac Brown Band.

Brooks’ most recent album, “Time Traveler,” was released in November 2023. He last toured in 2022. He did do Las Vegas residency, “Garth Brooks/Plus ONE,” which ran through July 2024.
