GameStop closures hit Vermont, New York and New Hampshire

WILLISTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Video game retailer GameStop is closing some of its locations in Vermont, New York and New Hampshire.

The Williston store has shut down, with crews packing up on Tuesday.

The Rutland store’s last day is Wednesday.

However, the store at the University Mall in South Burlington remains open.

In Plattsburgh, the GameStop in the Champlain Centre Mall will close this week, while the Consumer Square location will stay open.

In the Upper Valley, stores in Claremont and West Lebanon, New Hampshire, are also shuttering this week.
