TOTTENHAM legend Martin Chivers has died aged 80.
The former striker was among Spurs‘ greatest ever players and remains third in the club’s all-time list of goalscorers.

Chivers made 415 appearances for the Lilywhites, netting an impressive 202 times.
The Southampton-born striker also earned 24 England caps, scoring 13 times for his country.
Tottenham led the tributes for their brilliant former forward.
A club statement read: “It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our legendary former striker, Martin Chivers.

“We extend our deepest sympathies to Martin’s family, friends and former team-mates at this incredibly sad time.
“Our players will wear black armbands during this evening’s fixture against AFC Bournemouth.
“Rest in peace, Martin. One of the all-time greats.”
Former Spurs star Steve Archibald also paid tribute to Chivers.
The Scot, 69, wrote on social media: “Watched the great Martin Chivers before I became a pro, was an amazing watch, he was like Rolls Royce, so smooth in his movement, excellent in the air and a great finisher, but on top of all of that he was a really nice guy.
“Most sincere condolences to all of Martin’s family xxx.”
Spurs’ matchday announcer Pauln Coyte added: “I’m absolutely devastated that my great friend and footballing hero Martin Chivers has passed away.
“He was a giant of a man, the best striker in the world in his day and I will miss him terribly.”
Chivers began his career with hometown club Southampton in 1962.
Following 108 goals in 189 appearances in six years with the Saints, Chivers landed a move to Spurs.
The prolific star helped Spurs to two League Cups and a Uefa Cup during eight years at White Hart Lane.
Chivers went on to play for Servette, Norwich, Brighton, Dorchester, Vard Haugesund and Barnet before hanging up his boots in 1983.
