Calum McFarlane confirms coaching plan against Fulham | News | Official Site

Calum McFarlane has confirmed he will take charge of Chelsea for tomorrow’s Premier League trip to Fulham before new head coach Liam Rosenior starts working with the squad.
McFarlane, who has been our Under-21s head coach since the summer, oversaw the 1-1 draw at Manchester City at the weekend following the departure of Enzo Maresca.
At his media conference at Cobham this afternoon, shortly after Rosenior was appointed as our new head coach, McFarlane provided an update on the situation.
‘I spoke to Liam briefly last night and he’s really excited to take the role,’ said McFarlane.
‘It was a brief conversation and I understand he will be at Cobham later today, so I’m sure I will catch up with him more on that.
‘I’ve been told I am leading the game tomorrow, and we will try to do the best job, as we have done, and give him the three points to take and then build on.’
