An out-of-service OC Transpo double-decker bus caught fire while being towed early Wednesday afternoon.
The bus was being hauled westbound on Highway 417 when it ignited near the St. Laurent exit.
Ottawa Fire Services quickly arrived to extinguish the blaze, OC Transpo said.
No one was injured and an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
It was the bus’s engine compartment that caught on fire, according to the fire department.
