Public hearing to be held in Pilsen on interactions between Chicago police officers, federal immigration agents

CHICAGO (WLS) — People have a chance to speak at a public hearing about interactions between Chicago police officers and federal immigration agents.
The Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability is hosting the meeting in-person and virtually.
It begins at 6:30 p.m. at Thalia Hall on the corner of 18th and Allport in Pilsen.
Under state law, Chicago officers cannot collaborate with federal agents on immigration enforcement.
