Jenny McCarthy is trying to get some shut eye, no thanks to her husband, Donnie Wahlberg.

During an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark,” she explained, “First of all, he is the nicest human being you’ll ever meet … [He] treats me like a queen, communicates, loves me, he is absolutely what you would call textbook truly perfect …”
She continued, “There are, I wouldn’t call it a problem, but challenges. To be blunt, snoring.”
To deal with the problem, McCarthy said she wears “giant headphones” playing the sound of “ocean waves” in a bid to get some peace and quiet. She also builds a pillow wall like the “Great Wall of China” in a bid to stifle the sound of her husband’s snores.
“He took up snoring right when I started perimenopause, which, of course, you lose your sleep anyway,” the 53-year-old said. “I built in these insulations that really help me get through the night now. I sleep with these giant headphones on every night. So now, that is like a soundproof room in my ears.”
Or it mostly works. Wahlberg still lets out the occasional loud snore which she can hear through all her “insulations.” But in that case, she said she just taps him and he rolls over.
However, Jenny explained that if she can still hear Donnie snoring she will give him a tap to encourage him to roll over.

“Other than that, it’s perfect,” the “Masked Singer” judge said. “I will say it works.”
McCarthy and Wahlberg have been married since 2014 and share three children between them: Xavier and Elijah from Wahlberg’s first wife, and Evan from McCarthy’s previous marriage.
Even with the noise problem, the couple is still very much in love.

McCarthy told People in March 2024 that Wahlberg gets her flowers every week. “He’s never missed a Monday, in 10 years. He treats me like a queen.”
“He’s my everything,” she added. “He still gives me butterflies. He’s the love of my life.”
