Alabama receiver Isaiah Horton plans to enter the transfer portal, he told On3 on Thursday.
Horton spent one season with the the Crimson Tide after transferring from Miami.
Horton caught 42 passes for 511 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025. That’s after a 2024 season in Miami where he secured 56 passes for 616 yards and five scores.
Horton started 11 games for the Crimson Tide this past season. He saw 601 total snaps, per
Horton’s departure leaves Alabama with only one returning starter: Ryan Williams. Otherwise, the receiver spot is set to return Lotzeir Brooks, Rico Scott and Derek Meadows. Germie Bernard will go out for the NFL Draft with his eligibility expiring. Meanwhile, Cole Adams, Jaylen Mbakwe and Jalen Hale entered the transfer portal. Scott originally announced plans to enter the portal before deciding to stay. Otherwise, Alabama is set to add in-state receiver Cederian Morgan in its recruiting class as well.
The transfer portal is scheduled to remain open through Jan. 16. This will be the only window ahead of the 2026 season.
