The not-so-secret is out! Pokémon cards will return to McDonald’s Happy Meals in 2026.
Several gaming Websites are confirming a Happy Meal x Pokémon TCG promotion from February to March in celebration of Pokémon franchise’s upcoming 30th anniversary.
According to Pokébeach, typically for McDonald’s promotions, customers receive one 4-card booster containing one holographic card and three non-holo cards. The set sizes are usually 15 cards, including six holo cards printed on confetti holofoil. The cards are always reprints.
Earlier this year, McDonald’s Japan released a Pikachu promo with exclusive artwork. There is a slim possibility we could get the card in English, but this remains to be seen, especially since the card’s release led to mass chaos. TPCi and Creatures haven’t been releasing many alternate art promos lately, likely because demand is so high.
