‘South Park’ drops into ‘Fortnite’ on Jan. 9 with Quints, Cartmanland, and more

After spending 2025 satirizing President Donald Trump’s administration, South Park kicks off 2026 with a new chapter: a Fortnite collab.
Launching Friday, Jan. 9, and running until Thursday, Feb. 5, Fortnite‘s South Park: Born in Chaos crossover event ushers in a whole host of new features. Players can don Cartman, Kyle, Stan, Kenny, and Butters mech suit outfits in Fortnite‘s shop. (Meaning, yes, you can kill Kenny over and over again.) They can also explore a new Point of Interest in Cartman’s own personal theme park, Cartmanland.

In a major development, the South Park crossover introduces Quints, a five-player playlist that lets you add a new member to your squad. That’s great news for South Park‘s Butters, who, in the collab’s announcement video, finally gets to play Fortnite with his buddies instead of remain stuck as the fifth wheel.

The event also includes several South Park-themed gameplay items. Cheesy Poofs allow you to restore health, heal allies, or damage enemies, while the one-time use Kenny’s Respawn Token lets you reboot automatically after elimination. Plus, if you retrieve the single-use Stick of Truth (from the 2014 video game South Park: The Stick of Truth), you’ll be able to control where the Storm goes.
For even more South Park goodies, players can get the free Born in Chaos pass and complete South Park-themed quests to unlock 13 items, like the Cheesy Poofs Rocketship Emote, and a Terrance and Phillip Pickaxe. If you complete all of the quests, you’ll earn the Imaginationland Airship Glider.
Towelie will also be available as a sidekick, and you know what they say: If you choose to embark on Fortnite‘s chaotic new South Park journey, don’t forget to bring a towel.
