Family said it’s possible Brown is still on foot, and it’s important for the public to continue to look for her.

They said Wednesday that her car had been found, but she remains missing.

Family said the car was found near South Lake Park Avenue and East 35th Street.

There is video footage of her walking over a pedestrian bridge that leads to the lakefront, her family said.

She is alone in the footage, which is from 3 a.m. Saturday.

Family said they will be starting their own search party in the area Friday morning.

They are pleading with the public to help them bring her home safely.

“We don’t know where she is. We need to find her because I’m breaking down and I don’t know what to do,” her husband Antwon Brown said.

Chicago police said Brown was last seen in the 4500-block of South Martin Luther King Drive, not far from where she lives, on Saturday. But flyers with Brown’s photo are now being circulated online and throughout the Chicago area.

The special education teacher at Chicago Public Schools’ Robert Healy Elementary School was set to return to work on Monday. Healy’s principal sent out a letter alerting the school’s community with a plea to contact police with any information.

The school offered students mental health support.

CPD asked anyone with information to call Area One SVU detectives at 312-747-8380.
