Eric Singleton Jr. withdraws from NFL Draft, will enter transfer portal

Eric Singleton Jr. is no longer entering the NFL Draft, but still isn’t expected to return to Auburn.
He entered the transfer portal on Friday, a source confirmed to AL.com, becoming the 34th Auburn player to do so since the season ended. He’s also the sixth Auburn wide receiver to enter the portal.
Singleton transferred to Auburn from Georgia Tech last offseason and was the No. 1-ranked receiver in the portal, according to 247Sports and On3. He led Auburn in receptions in 2025, setting a new career high with 58.
His 534 receiving yards were second on the team behind Cam Coleman and were the fewest he’s had in a season during his college career.
Auburn has added five transfer wide receivers since the portal opened, with all five coming with new head coach Alex Golesh from USF. The portal will remain open for players to enter until Jan. 16. Keep up with all of Auburn’s incoming and outgoing players here.
