Suns’ Grayson Allen on hardest part of rehabbing a knee injury
Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen had been sidelined with a knee injury for nine games.
The Phoenix Suns begin a two-game homestand on Friday, Jan. 9, against the New York Knicks at Mortgage Matchup Center.
The 7 p.m. MST game will be televised on 3TV and Arizona’s Family Sports.
The Suns (22-15) are coming off a 117-98 victory Jan. 7 at Memphis, while the Knicks (24-13) won their last game, 123-111, Jan. 7 at the Los Angeles Clippers to snap a four-game losing skid.
Suns guards Jalen Green (right hamstring strain) and Jamaree Bouyea (concussion protocol) are both ruled out for the game, while Jordan Goodwin is available with a listed jaw sprain as he’ll wear a mask.
The Knicks are down Josh Hart (right ankle sprain) and former Suns guard Landry Shamet (right shoulder sprain) while Guerschon Yabusele is listed as questionable with a right quad contusion.
