Gregor, 27, has a goal and two assists in 24 games on the season, his first in Florida. Cholowski, also 27, has one assist in 15 games.
Meanwhile, another 27-year-old defenceman, Matthew Kiersted, was waived by the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.
Kiersted has one assist in four games for the Wild this season. He has three assists in 23 games with the AHL’s Iowa Wild.
