BYU Basketball’s on the road for a rivalry game at the University of Utah on Saturday night.
The Cougars are 14-1 overall and 2-0 in the Big 12. BYU last played on Wednesday night at the Marriott Center against the Arizona State Sun Devils, winning by a final score of 104-76.
The Utah Utes are 8-7 on the season and 0-2 in Big 12, with losses to Arizona and most recently at Colorado on Wednesday. The final score for Utah against Colorado was 85-73. Utah hasn’t had a win since Dec. 20 against Eastern Washington at the Huntsman Center.
BYU and Utah have met 266 times in the past with BYU having the 135-131 edge, despite losing three out of five of its last visits to Salt Lake City. ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives BYU an 88 percent chance of winning on Saturday night.
