List of All Jacksonville Jaguars Free Agents in 2026 Including Travis Etienne, Devin Lloyd, Greg Newsome, and Others

Few could’ve predicted the Jacksonville Jaguars to win the AFC South and post a 13-4 regular-season record, yet that’s exactly what they did in general manager James Gladstone and head coach Liam Coen’s first season at the helm.

The challenge now is to prove their inaugural campaign wasn’t a fluke. While quarterback Trevor Lawrence looks to have grown into his five-year, $275 million contract, the new regime needs to make sure he still has the right pieces around him. On defense, Coen and Gladstone face the task of retaining key contributors while adding talent to keep the unit effective.

Jacksonville Jaguars’ Notable Free Agents

Jaguars’ Cap Space and Cut Candidates

Looking ahead, the Jaguars currently have $5.1 million to spend in free agency, though Gladstone will likely make contract restructures and cuts to give them additional flexibility based on their current cap situation. They’ll need considerably more room if they want to keep impact players like Etienne, Lloyd, and Newsome on the roster.

Etienne — Lawrence’s partner in crime since their Clemson days — has an RB Impact Grade of 75.2 according to PFSN, though his 1,300-plus scrimmage yards speak to his upper-tier ability. Though the Jaguars drafted Bayshul Tuten in the fourth round last year, they don’t currently have a back on the roster who can match Etienne’s production.

On defense, linebacker Devin Lloyd has had the best season of his career, just as he’s hitting his prime at age 27. Midseason trade acquisition Greg Newsome is also up for a new deal and has flashed ability as a starter, though he has yet to find consistency as a Jaguar.

As mentioned previously, Gladstone will be forced to make some difficult cuts in order to re-sign key players. One of those players may be tackle Walker Little, who carries a cap hit of $14.5 million this year.

Just a week ago, the Jaguars re-signed versatile lineman Cole Van Lanen to a three-year, $51 million contract, putting Walker’s future in question.

Another notable name to watch is linebacker Foyesade Oluokun, who will likely have trade value despite a cap hit of $16.8 million. He’s enjoyed another productive season at age 30, totaling 143 tackles. However, with a younger and still improving linebacker in Lloyd set to be a free agent, Oluokun may be sacrificed to keep Lloyd in Jacksonville.

Before any decisions are made, Jacksonville’s full focus will be on its upcoming playoff run, in which it will take on the Buffalo Bills at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 11.
