FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A 25-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car while on her bicycle in Fresno.

The crash happened at 4:50 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Blackstone and Gettysburg avenues.
Fresno Police say the woman was riding her bike eastbound across Blackstone and jumped the median before being hit by a car traveling north on Blackstone.
Investigators say she’s at fault for the crash because she had her cell phone in her hand and was not paying attention.
The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The bicyclist was provided first aid on scene and taken to the hospital, where she is expected to be okay.
