We’re officially entering awards season and Nikki Glaser is back to host the upcoming Golden Globes on Sunday, January 11. And chances are she’ll be supported by her longtime boyfriend, Chris Convy. If you’re brand new here, Nikki and Chris have been dating for over a decade and their relationship is very sweet. Quick crash course below!

Nikki, Um, Shouted Him Out During Tom Brady’s Roast
Direct quote: “I just want to say, for the record, I do have a boyfriend, we’ve been together for 10 years, he’s the love of my life, he’s here tonight, he’s sitting right over there. And I want to say publicly, I would shoot you in the fucking face for a lottery ticket to suck this guy’s dick.”
By the way, Chris approved of the joke ahead of time! As Nikki explained on The Rich Eisen Show “My boyfriend goes, ‘You should do it,’ and I’m like, ‘Really?’ He was so encouraging, and getting his permission — he’s awesome in that way that he lets me talk about him and our relationship and anything. He says, ‘As long as it’s funny, you can say whatever you want.'”
They Met on Her Show

Nikki and Chris met at work! Specifically, when he produced her 2013 MTV show, Nikki & Sarah Live. She told Graham Bensinger in 2022, “I just had a crush from afar which was so fun because I was just pining for him constantly. It was very Jim and Pam [from The Office], I was Jim, and he had no idea.”
In this same interview, Nikki revealed she and Chris haven’t always been monogamous, saying “I like my boyfriend to at least entertain the idea of being with other women or be with them. I think it’s about, like, I want to be on HBO Max because I like HBO Max, and it’s a cool platform. I want my show to be on a place that is a cool, shiny…I want things that other people want.”
She added, “I wouldn’t mind if [he] had a little fling with someone else, not like emotional. Even if she’s hotter than me or looks different than me, I don’t really care what she looks like.”

They’ve Broken Up 5 Times
As Nikki told Howard Stern on The Howard Stern Show back in 2024, “I think the off and on is because committing to anything forever, I think that forever makes me think of no other adventures. It’s kind of admitting defeat, it’s settled.”
“Our breaks have gone from maybe two days to one was three years long,” she added. “He’s broken up with me. In the beginning of our relationship, I think I wanted a boyfriend so badly, I really misrepresented who I was. I thought getting a boyfriend meant being agreeable and just doing everything, never fighting, [and] never saying, ‘I don’t like what you just said,’ because then he’d be like, ‘Well, that’s the way I am, bye.'”
Nikki also spoke to Howard about her past issues as a partner, saying in part “He really got me to stop lying, I’m better at it I’m not perfect at it because I still fear abandonment, so there’s some issues in our relationship where I fear he’s going to be mad at me.”
Yes, They’re Currently Together

These two have had an on-again / off-again relationship, but Nikki referenced Chris as recently as a couple months ago—when she was hosting SNL in November. “He’s shorter than me. But he’s, like, really hot,” she said. “And honestly I think that’s why I got him, because I could never get his face on a taller model. Like if you want to get a 10 in the face you gotta go 5’7″ in the height. That’s the trick. It’s like getting a hot guy on discount.”
She also told Bill Maher last year that “I had a breakthrough recently with him where we were kind of maybe going to go our separate ways … and then I just stopped. It’s so basic, but I just realized, like, no one I’m fantasizing about maybe replacing him with … no one’s going to be perfect. He doesn’t need to be perfect for me. It was really just about acceptance, and we’ve just been so good ever since. We’re just trying to be partners and figure it out.”
