Alabama bolsters receiver spot with ACC transfer

Alabama football has added to its receiver room.
Ex-NC State receiver Noah Rogers has signed with the Crimson Tide, per reports from On3 and 247Sports.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver caught 33 passes for 441 yards and two touchdowns in 2025 for the Wolfpack. Over two seasons at NC State, Rogers secured 68 passes for 619 yards and three scores.
Rogers started his career at Ohio State in 2023 where he redshirted after playing in four games.
Rogers was a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, per the 247Sports Composite. He was ranked as the No. 8 receiver and No. 52 overall player in that class.
Former Alabama assistants Joe Cox and Holomon Wiggins were his primary recruiters when he picked Ohio State over th, per 247Sports.
Rogers is a native of Rolesville, North Carolina.
He supplements a receiver room that needs more people. Prior to Rogers’ signing, Alabama had only five scholarship receivers: Ryan Williams, Lotzeir Brooks, Rico Scott, Derek Meadows and incoming freshman Cederian Morgan.
The Crimson Tide had eight scholarship receivers on the 2025 roster. But Germie Bernard is off to the NFL Draft, and Isaiah Horton transferred to Texas A&M. Meanwhile, reserve receivers such as Cole Adams, Jaylen Mbakwe and others entered the transfer portal as well.
The transfer portal is scheduled to remain open through Jan. 16.
