Texans RB receives troubling injury update before playoffs vs Steelers

As the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare to host their first postseason game in almost a decade, their opponent, the Houston Texans, received some troubling injury news ahead of the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.
According to KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, tests showed that Texans running back Jawhar Jordan, who was injured in the Week 18 win over the Indianapolis Colts, reportedly suffered a high ankle sprain, which leaves his status in jeopardy ahead of the playoff game vs. the Steelers.
Selected with the 205th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Jordan has accumulated 193 rushing yards and 34 receiving yards through four games this season, slowly emerging as Houston’s top backup before his injury.
With Jordan sidelined, the Texans are down to running backs “Woody” Marks, Nick Chubb, Dare Ogunbowale, and British Brooks.
Luckily for Pittsburgh’s own injury situation heading into the playoffs, running back Jaylen Warren (illness) returned to practice as a full participant on Friday after sitting out to start the week.
