Brian Daboll will get head coach interview with Tennessee Titans

Former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll has re-emerged on the coaching carousel interview circuit.

The Giants fired Daboll midseason with the team at 2-8. In 3½ seasons as Giants head coach, Daboll went 20-40-1 (.336 winning percentage). He won Coach of the Year honors in his first season, 2022, when the Giants unexpectedly not only reached the playoffs but won a Wild-Card round game against the Minnesota Vikings. After that season, though, the Giants went just 11-33 with Daboll as coach.

If he were to get the Tennessee head coaching job, Daboll would get the opportunity to coach quarterback Cam Ward, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Giants attempted to trade up from No. 3 to select Ward last year before drafting Abdul Carter and then trading back into Round 1 to get quarterback Jaxson Dart.

Daboll has been offensive coordinator of the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, and Buffalo Bills. He also spent a year running the offense for Nick Saban at Alabama.
