The Canadiens arrive in Washington with momentum. After the 6-3 victory at the Bell Centre against the Canucks, the group did not have the luxury of resting for long.
The plane took off quickly, and then Martin St-Louis confirmed that he would adjust his lineup as early as Tuesday night.
Josh Anderson’s return to action is strongly expected, which already puts one player on the ejector seat, with Owen Beck being the most logical candidate.

In goal, Samuel Montembeault gets the start, and it is easy to understand why he traveled ahead of the team. This season, he has played 18 games and posted a record of 8-6-1, with a 3.39 goals-against average and a .869 save percentage.
The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Between Anderson’s possible return and the final decision on defense, the official lineup could spark discussion right up until the last minute.
