Woman, child struck by vehicle in Meriden McDonald’s parking lot

MERIDEN, Conn. (WFSB) – Two pedestrians were struck by a car in a McDonald’s parking lot on East Main Street Tuesday evening, according to Meriden police.
Police say an adult woman and a juvenile male were hit by a car in the McDonald’s parking lot and are receiving medical treatment for serious but non-life-threating injuries.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to police.
The department’s accident investigation unit has been called in to assist with the case.
Police have not released details about the specific circumstances that led to the collision.
