Results of Newsday readers’ Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2026 balloting

Every year, baseball fans have opinions on who deserves to be in the sport’s Hall of Fame. This year, we gave readers the chance to bring those opinions from social media and group chats to their own (and unofficial) Class of 2026 Baseball Hall of Fame ballot.
Readers were allowed to select up to 10 names from the ballot, just as the voting members of the BBWAA do. They also were given the ability to submit a blank ballot, an opportunity afforded to the electorate as well. In this poll, just as with the official Baseball Hall of Fame rules, players must have appeared on 75% of the ballots to be inducted.
In total, Newsday subscribers cast 448 ballots. Below are a reminder of who you voted for (log in if you don’t see that), the overall results of our reader poll, and a look at how Newsday’s eligible voters this year cast their ballots.
