Motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries after south Las Vegas crash, police say

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A motorcyclist has life-threatening injuries after a crash in south Las Vegas, police say.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the crash happened around 2:45 p.m. near East Ford Avenue and South Las Vegas Boulevard, near Pebble Road. Police said it involves the motorcyclist and another vehicle.
Police said the motorcyclist has been transported to a hospital. There were no immediate details about the other car involved.
According to an alert from the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, Las Vegas Boulevard is closed between Wigwam Avenue and Pebble Road. Roads are temporarily closed in both directions.
RTC advises the public and drivers to use a different route and avoid the area. Police say it is an ongoing investigation.
