17-year-old girl, 2 adults found dead after triple shooting at Lakewood home, authorities say

LAKEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) — A 17-year-old girl and two adults were found dead Thursday morning inside a home in Lakewood following a triple shooting, authorities said.
The shooting occurred shortly before 8 a.m. in a residential neighborhood near the intersection of Lorelei Avenue and South Street, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

The sheriff’s department confirmed that three people — a woman, a man and the 17-year-old girl — were pronounced dead at the location. Their identities were not immediately released.
The circumstances that led to the shooting were unknown. Authorities did not release any information about a possible suspect in the case.
A fourth person, identified only as a woman, is waiting to be interviewed by investigators, according to LASD Lt. Daniel Vizcarra. The woman reportedly came out of the house “extremely distraught” when deputies arrived. No further details were released.
