LOOK: The Chiefs’ Xavier Worthy is out of his surgery

It’s the offseason — the time of miracles!
The Kansas City Chiefs’ wide receiver Xavier Worthy has now completed his surgery for a torn labrum.
“Successful surgery,” Worthy posted on X Wednesday afternoon. “Coming for it all next year. Let’s work [the] road to recovery.”
The speedy wide receiver also posted a photo on his Instagram account that showed his arm in a sling.
In all, the 23-year-old wideout appeared in 14 games during the 2025 season, accumulating 42 catches for 532 yards and a touchdown, plus 11 attempts for 87 yards rushing.
“Keep doubting me,” he posted on X. “Y’all are creating a monster!”
Worthy will be returning for his third season in 2026. The former first-round pick has recorded a total of 1,361 yards and 10 touchdowns during his first two seasons, but has not yet put up the numbers we would prefer to see from such a player.
