West Vancouver police have notified the public after a death on Cypress Mountain Resort Thursday evening.
Details are limited, but the West Vancouver Police Department (WVPD) says its Victim Services team was called to the resort after one person died.
“The deceased has been identified, and their family has been notified and is receiving support,” police added.
In a statement to 1130 NewsRadio, a resort representative confirmed only that the fatal incident involved a guest.
The Victim Services team was also reportedly made available to people who witnessed the death.
