Kianna Underwood, former Nickelodeon star, killed in hit-and-run

Kianna Underwood, who appeared on Nickelodeon’s “All That” as a child, was killed in a hit-and-run incident in New York City on Friday, police said.
Underwood was crossing the street in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn when she was hit by a black SUV. As she lay in the roadway, she was then struck by a black and gray sedan, according to the New York Police Department. She was 33 years old.

“The operators of the vehicles did not remain on scene,” the police said in a statement.
Underwood was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said she was experiencing homelessness. No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad.
Underwood was a performer on Nickelodeon’s “All That,” a children’s sketch-comedy series that launched the careers of stars like “Saturday Night Live’s” Kenan Thompson. She also voiced the character Fuchsia Glover on “Little Bill” and appeared in the film “The 24 Hour Woman,” starring Rosie Perez, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Patti LuPone.
