Trey Miguel issues statement to fans following absence from The Rascalz’ AEW Collision debut

Earlier this week, Fightful.com reported that former TNA Wrestling faction The Rascalz (Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, and Myron Reed) have signed multi-year contracts with AEW after leaving TNA. The Rascalz debuted on the January 17th 2026 edition of Collision, but Miguel was absent from the segment. He also deleted his posts on Twitter/X related to AEW.
After the show, Miguel issued the following statement to fans via Instagram…
“Taking a break from wrestling. Please respect my space and don’t tag me in any posts or comments. Go support the Rascalz still.”
Fightful has since reported that Miguel was released from the AEW contract he signed. It was noted that he is on amicable terms with the company.
