The actress looked like she’s entering a new era on the Joy Awards 2026 red carpet Saturday.
Attending the event in Saudi Arabia, Brown, 21, showed off a brand new chin-grazing bob haircut. She also went back to her roots, dyeing her previously red-tinged locks a more natural brown shade.

The “Stranger Things” actress went all-out for the red carpet, too, shimmering in a Tamara Ralph Couture fall 2025 gown covered in sequins and floral appliqués. She added even more sparkle with enormous Chopard diamond drop earrings.
The Netflix show, which premiered in 2016, concluded with the fifth and final season last month. Over the course of a decade, Brown has tried out many different looks, including shaving her head for the first season as her supernatural character, Eleven.
After trying out a platinum blond bombshell color, she went back to brunette in March 2025.
Accepting the Joy award for personality of the year, she slipped into a second gown from the same designer’s spring 2024 couture collection, this one featuring voluminous feather-covered sleeves, a sequined corset waist and a thigh-high slit.

“Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be in the creative world,” she began her emotional acceptance speech. “Pursuing creativity and becoming an actor at eight years old wasn’t a dream I chased on my own. It was encouraged and supported by my parents who never doubted me for a second.”
She concluded with a special shoutout to her loved ones, including her daughter, whom she and husband Jake Bongiovi welcomed via adoption last summer.
“I’m so honored to have my own unit in my life. My family are my anchor, my husband is my sail, my team are my engine, and my daughter is my North Star,” she said. “I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without them.”
