Player Tottenham released in 2024 could now make surprise move to Inter Milan

Tottenham are busy trying to sign new players this month, with Conor Gallagher the first player through the door.
Yan Diomande has been linked with Spurs, and it would appear that the next port of call is to strengthen the attacking options within the squad.
Tottenham have also been linked with Karim Adeyemi, although that deal is a little bit more complex to complete during the January window.
With Tottenham fans fully focused on who might be the next new signing through the door in N17, it might have been missed that a former Spurs star might be set for a very exciting move.

Ivan Perisic set for surprise move
It perhaps came as a bit of a surprise when Perisic left Tottenham in 2024, and now he could be set for a European giant.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Perisic could now be heading back to Inter Milan, where he previously spent four years of his career.
Perisic is enjoying a decent campaign in Holland with PSV, scoring four goals and claiming 10 assists during the first half of the campaign.
That level of form has alerted Inter, and they could be willing to bring back the player who previously made 254 appearances for the club and helped himself to a number of titles in the process.
At 36, this does feel like a surprise move for Inter to make but clearly, they feel that the former Tottenham man can still do a job for the team.
Tottenham need attacking quality after Gallagher’s signing
It’s vital that Tottenham don’t down tools and admire their signing of Gallagher for too long in this window.
If Spurs are serious about finishing with a flourish and gunning for a place back in European competition, attacking players must be the order of the day.
Tottenham would welcome a player with the versatility of Perisic, given that he played in a number of positions during his 50 games for the club.

The Croatian performer wouldn’t be a viable Tottenham signing now, with the Premier League likely to be too quick for him at his current age.
However, it will be interesting to see how he performs at Inter should that deal get over the line before the window closes.
Hopefully, Tottenham can land their own attacking recruit, with the clock now ticking towards next month.
