Fernando Mendoza Updates LinkedIn Bio After Indiana’s CFP Title, Writes Inspirational Post

Fernando Mendoza is probably a few months away from being the top overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft. But that doesn’t mean he’s above updating… his LinkedIn profile.

In the section for honors and awards, Mendoza also added that he helped with the “first-ever College Football Playoff National Championship for the Indiana Hoosiers, completing an undefeated 16-0 season.”

There is a proud history of quarterbacks who communicate in what could best be described as “inspirational poster” speak—we see you, Russell Wilson and Jalen Hurts—so Mendoza fits the bill in that regard.

More importantly, he just did the once unthinkable, leading Indiana to a national championship in football while winning a Heisman Trophy along the way. Yes, there is going to be a movie someday. The Las Vegas Raiders are just hoping the perfect Hollywood ending includes a legendary NFL career for Mendoza as well.
