Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie Are Olympic Torchbearers

Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie are about to heat up the Winter Olympics in Milan.
The “Heated Rivalry” stars have been selected as official torchbearers during the Olympic Torch Relay, which will conclude on Feb. 6 in Milan ahead of the opening ceremony. When and where Williams and Storrie will be carrying the Olympic torch has not yet been revealed.
The news was announced by HBO Max, which has the rights to the Crave Original series — a steamy romance following two hockey players from rival teams who can’t ignore their feelings for each other — in the U.S., Australia, Asia, Latin America and Europe. Sphere Abacus leads global distribution.
The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will be available to stream on HBO Max in the U.S. as well as Europe, including in Italy and Germany for the first time as part of the streamer’s expansion.
The “Heated Rivalry” craze has captivated the internet since its U.S. premiere at the end of November, catapulting Williams and Storrie to global fame. The hype has led to the duo presenting at the Golden Globes, late-night appearances, the selling out of Rachel Reid’s book series on which the show is based and a Season 2 renewal.
Reacting to the show’s renewal, Storrie told Variety that he hopes the next season stays true to Reid’s books. “These are obviously really well-constructed stories that a lot of people are really into,” he said. “The only way to make this make sense is to stick to the books and also honor the fandom of the people who are really spearheading this whole thing.”
