LORRAINE Kelly was left gutted after she broke the news of her ITV co-star’s departure live on air.
The Scottish broadcaster admitted “I can’t bear it” as she told of the Lorraine show presenter’s imminent departure.

Lorraine, 66, closed Thursday’s episode of her show with the same name by revealing it was Tyler West‘s last day fronting the entertainment news segment.
Tyler, 29, was recently announced as the new KISS FM Breakfast host alongside Love Island alum Chloe Burrows so will no longer be able to juggle his duties with the 9.30am weekday show.
She told how she “couldn’t bear” to break the news and “would miss” Tyler very much.
Lorraine said: “Look, we have to say good luck to you because you are off to do an amazing show, you’re going to do the KISS Breakfast show.

“Which means that we can’t have you on.
“I can’t bear it, it’s just awful, because we will miss you so so much.”
The Celeb Race Across The World star then told her he’d be back as she added how he would “smash” the new role.
We previously revealed how I’m A Celeb star Vogue Williams will replace him.
Revealing the news on her podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, Vogue said: “So I am going to be reporting the entertainment on Lorraine every Wednesday.
“So that will be good.”
Her co-host Joanne McNally praised it as “good move” for Vogue following her jungle antics.
KISS GIG
Strictly alum Tyler has previously spoken out about his plum radio gig.
The early morning show had been hosted by Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely since 2020, but the duo sensationally quit in December.
Tyler, who currently presents afternoons on Kiss, said of the new opportunity: “KISS FAM! The mornings are gonna be unreal!
“Taking over from my boys Jordan and Perri is huge… but trust me I’m ready to bring it!
“It’s time for big laughs and bigger tunes. KISS is where home is – this is your new breakfast show where the door is always open. It’s gonna be carnage!”
The show rivals the likes of Capital Breakfast Show with Jordan North, Sian Welby and Chris Stark, Radio 1’s Breakfast with Greg James, and Hits Radio Breakfast with Fleur East, James & Matt.
ITV’s daytime TV schedule changes in full
Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes to run from 6am to 9.30am daily.
Lorraine will run from 9.30am-10am, on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year.
During the weeks Lorraine is not on air, Good Morning Britain will run from 6am to 10am.
This Morning will remain in its 10am-12.30pm slot on weekdays throughout the year.
Loose Women will be in the 12.30-1.30pm slot, again on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year.
The changes will take effect from January 2026.
ALL CHANGE
Tyler’s departure comes as the Lorraine show undergoes huge changes.
From January, it was reduced to 30-minute episodes and will only run on a seasonal basis.
Meanwhile, Lorraine was replaced as host by Christine Lampard last week.
The switch up came after her dad John Kelly, 84, died after an “ice fall tragedy” in a Scots town.
He was found injured in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, amid sub-zero temperatures, and sadly died at the scene.
