Jennifer Lawrence is showing off her vocal chops!
During an appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast on Tuesday, Jan. 20, the actress was asked what her go-to karaoke song is — and she was quick to respond “‘Any Man of Mine,’ Shania Twain.”
Then, she proceeded to sing the song when Poehler, 54, admitted she didn’t know it.
“And if I change my mind / A million times / I want to hear him say / Yeah, yeah, yeah / I like it that way / Any man of mine,” Lawrence, 35, dramatically sang into the microphone as Poehler hyped her up.
“Oh my God, you’re good,” Poehler said, as Lawrence responded, “I know, really good.”
In the comments section of an Instagram clip of the moment, Twain commented, “The passion! The energy! The microphone grab!! 😂 Obsessed. Love ya Jennifer.. and you Amy! ❤️”
In a separate post on X, the “You’re Still the One” singer also commented, “This is so perfect.”
The 60-year-old singer released “Any Man of Mine” in 1995 as the second single from her album The Woman in Me.
In 2020, Twain celebrated the 25th anniversary of the album on social media.
“I cannot believe it is 25 years since I released The Woman In Me. This is really the album that started it all off for me,” Twain said in a video posted on X. “It was the first certified diamond album and 25 years later I’m still enjoying singing these songs every night. The album means a great deal to me. It’s been a very personal journey and I’m very grateful to this album.”
“I actually should be doing something to celebrate — yeah,” she added, giving the camera a wink.
Most recently, Twain surprised the audience at Austin City Limits in October when she came out during Sabrina Carpenter’s headlining set. At the time, they sang a duet of “That Don’t Impress Me Much.”
Afterward, she celebrated the performance on social media by posting photos of the moment.
“It’s like Loretta and Dolly except it’s SHANIA & SABRINA 💖,” Twain wrote in reference to Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn and their famed close friendship.
Twain released her latest studio album, Queen of Me, in February 2023.
