What channel is UNC basketball vs Virginia on today? Time, TV schedule for ACC game

The North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team plays a top-25 ACC game against the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday, Jan. 24 (Noon, ESPN2) at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville. 

Sitting at No. 24 in the USA TODAY coaches poll and 22nd in AP Top 25 poll, the Tar Heels (15-4, 3-3 ACC) will try to hand the 14th-ranked Cavaliers (16-2, 5-1) their first loss since late November. 

UNC has won five of the last seven games in the series, including consecutive matchups, but the Hoos have won eight of the last nine meetings in Charlottesville. Virginia has also won the last five matchups in which both teams were ranked.

The latest game between the programs was moved up two hours to a noon tipoff due to a projected winter storm.

Jones Angell will have the radio call on the Tar Heel Sports Radio Network. Tyler Hansbrough and Tyler Zeller will rotate as game analysts, with Dave Nathan and Adam Lucas joining the broadcast for pregame, halftime and postgame. For local radio in Chapel Hill, the game can be found on 97.9 FM. Fans can listen for free online through the 97.9 FM Chapelboro website.
