RAIFORD, Fla. (WCAX) – A serial killer born in Vermont was executed on this day in 1989.
Ted Bundy was, and remains, one of America’s most infamous serial killers. He confessed to 30 murders, however some investigators believe the real number of victims may be closer to 100. He was born in Burlington in 1946, but was moved out of Vermont as an infant. He was executed by electric chair at the Raiford State Prison in Florida on January 24, 1989.
