Rainbow Wahine basketball wins 4th straight game

Bailey Flavell scored a team-high 17 points and Hawaii outscored Cal State Northridge by 16 points over the final 13 minutes to pull out a 64-55 win today at Premier America Credit Union Arena in Northridge, Calif.
Saniyah Neverson added 13 points and Imani Perez had 12 points, eight rebounds and a dagger 3 with 5:12 remaining to put Hawaii ahead by double digits after it trailed by as many as nine in the third quarter.
Hawaii tied a season-high with its fourth consecutive win to improve to 10-9 overall and 4-5 in Big West play.
Erika Aspajo scored a game-high 20 points to lead CSUN, which fell to 6-12 and 2-7.
Keiara Curtis, who finished with nine points, four rebounds and three steals, had to leave the game in the fourth quarter after coming down on another player’s foot while attempting a jumper.
She managed to return later in the quarter.

Hawaii went on a 17-0 run spanning the third and fourth quarters after CSUN used a 20-3 run in the first half to lead 29-22 at halftime.
UH returns home to play league-leading UC Irvine next on Thursday.
