Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu match officially doesn’t take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event

Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu was scheduled to take place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24th 2026.

Fatu attacked Cody as the pyro was going off, but Cody was able to fight back. The referee was knocked down, but the fight continued as more officials and security rushed out. Fatu came off the top rope with a dive onto everyone. Cody regrouped and brawled with Fatu by the announce desk. The two continued to attack each other into the crowd and concession area.

Officials attempted to break things up but were unsuccessful. Drew McIntyre showed up and put Fatu through a table in the crowd. McIntyre then powerbombed Cody through another table.
