Thursday Night Trivia

When: 6:30-9:30 p.m. every Thursday

Where: The Spanked Puppy, 116 Main St.

Details: Join every Thursday to test your knowledge. Prizes awarded each round. Food and drink available for purchase.  

Community Meal for Older Adults (60+)

When: 11:30 a.m. Every other Friday (Feb. 6 and 

Where: Colchester Recreation Center, 80 Dick Mazza Dr.

Details: Check in starts at 11:30 a.m. and the meal is at noon. Register at least a week in advance by contacting Nicole Conley, Recreation Center Manager at 802.264.5644 or [email protected].

Siber Sled Dogs

When: 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24

Where: Burnham Memorial Library lawn

Details: Come to the library lawn to learn about dog sledding and meet (and pet!) some trained Siberian Huskies! Milagro Amaya Turner and her Siber Sled Dogs will be here at 1 p.m. 

Invasive Species in Woods and Yards

When: 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24

Where: Cherey Room 101, St. Michaels College

Details: Hear from USDA wetland specialist James Eikenberry and St. Michael’s College professor Declan McCabe on all things invasive species.

Colchester-Milton Rotary Blood Drive

When: 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17

Where: Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 784 Main St., Colchester

Details: Easy parking, a comfortable waiting area, and delicious homemade baked goods for after you donate!  In addition, donors that day will be entered to win a goodie bag of items generously donated by members of the Milton Artists Guild.  All donors will also receive a $15 Amazon gift card by email. When you give blood, you can help accident victims, cancer patients, new mothers and others in need have a second chance at life. There is currently a crucial need for blood donations. Town Plan Kick Off

When: 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17

Where: Colchester Town Offices, 781 Blakey Road

Details: Join the Colchester Planning Commission to let them know what you think is important for the 2027 town plan, which covers the next eight years.

HAM-CON: Ham Radio Convention

When: 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28

Where: Hampton Inn Route 2/7 and Remote
