Inactives for Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots in AFC Championship Game

The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots will square off in the AFC Championship Game here this afternoon. With the loss of Bo Nix, the Broncos were hoping to get back some key players on their offense. It turned out that J.K. Dobbins wasn’t quite ready to go and was not activated off IR, but center Luke Wattenberg was. The latter addition is huge, because keeping Jarrett Stidham clean in the pocket is going to be vital in this game.

Other players who were questionable for today’s game and will be inactive is center Alex Forsyth. The backup center will be Sam Mustipher. Wide receiver Troy Franklin came up lame with a slight hamstring issue last week and those soft tissue injuries don’t tend to be a one week turnaround. The team elevated receivers Elijah Moore and Michael Bandy from the practice squad to prepare for Franklin’s likely gameday uncertainty. Moore got the nod to the active roster today.

Que Robinson is another name of note as he has been an on again and off again name in each week’s inactives report. He is active for this one, so added help on special teams and defensive line rotation there.

Here are your gameday inactives for the Broncos-Patriots game in the AFC Championship game.
