The preview of the 49th stage of the Olympic Flame: from Pordenone to Belluno

On Sunday, January 25th, the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games torch relay will embark on its forty-ninth stage, traversing regions of significant historical and scenic importance between Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto.
Today’s schedule
The relay will start at 9:20 am from Pordenone, with 28 torchbearers, and will head towards Conegliano, where the arrival is scheduled for 11:45 am. Conegliano is one of the gateways to the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, which have been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019 for their landscape, shaped by grassy banks, terraced vineyards, forests, small villages and rural countryside.
At 12:55, the Flame will arrive in Vittorio Veneto, then continue in the afternoon to Valdobbiadene, with an expected arrival at 15:30. It will then proceed to Feltre, a historic city known for its Renaissance centre and frescoed palaces, also scheduled to arrive at 16:30.
After passing through Trichiana at 6:15 pm, the relay will enter Belluno, with an expected arrival time of 7:30 pm. In Piazza dei Martiri, after a relay of 14 individual torchbearers and 20 in groups, the city will welcome the brazier in a celebratory moment open to the community.
Among the most significant stops on this stage are the wineries scattered across the hilly landscape. These establishments bear witness to the deep-rooted local agricultural tradition, founded on vineyard cultivation practices that have shaped the landscape for centuries and now integrate modern models of wine management and environmental protection. Nestled among vineyards and villages, these places embody the relationship between nature, community, and land that makes the Prosecco Hills a globally recognised heritage site.
