WTA Australian Open Best Bets Including Elena Rybakina vs Elise Mertens

The round of 16 at the WTA Australian Open concludes play tomorrow, with four matches remaining. Several of these matches feature two top-level talents, and LWOS is here with our best bets for those matches. The other two matches feature larger lines, but we’ve found some quality bets there, too. Please share your best bets in the comments section.

WTA Australian Open

Inglis – Swiatek: Time 16:00

H2H: 0-1

Maddison Inglis vs Iga Swiatek is one of the matches with the larger lines, but more on that in a minute. The two have only met once before, but at least it was here in Australia. Their only meeting was a round-of-16 match at the WTA Adelaide Open in 2021. Swiatek took that match in straight sets, with Inglis only winning a total of four games. Inglis is 9-1 in her last ten matches, 6-0 this year, and got to rest this last round because Naomi Osaka withdrew.

Best Bet to Make

Despite all the hype I gave Inglis above, there’s zero chance I’m going to pick her against Swiatek. Checking it at an average of 18-1, Swiatek is as large as a 29-1 favorite on one site. Except for her last match, Inglis has played three sets in four of her six matches in the Australian Open. She’s played a lot of tennis. She’ll also need to be perfect to win. Give me the under on 17 games for 1.8 on 10Bet.

That being said, Under 17 games is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/the best odds: Under 17 games @1.8 @10Bet

Wang – Anisimova: Time 16:00

H2H: 0-0

Xinyu Wang vs Amanda Anisimova is our second match, and our other match with a large line. Wang has been impressive in 2026. She made the final at WTA Auckland, only to lose to Elina Svitolina. She made the round of 16 at WTA Hobart, but lost to Magda Linette. Anisimova is 4-1 this year with a loss to Marta Kostyuk in the round of 16 at WTA Brisbane.

Best Bet to Make

The line is 5-1 on the vast majority of the sites. Anisimova is the higher-ranked athlete in the World rankings and is considered the better hardcourt player. While you could nab Anisimova 2:0 for 1.55 and make a small profit, I would take the under on 19 games for 2.0 on 1xBet or 10Bet.

That being said, Under 19 games is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/the best odds: Under 19 games @2.0 @10Bet

Rybakina – Mertens: Time 16:00

H2H: 6-1

Elena Rybakina vs Elise Mertens is my co-featured match. If Rybakina weren’t 6-1 against Mertens, it might have been the featured match. Unfortunately for Mertens, her only win against Rybakina came in the second round at WTA Madrid in 2021. Rybakina’s six wins came at WTA Cincinnati twice, WTA Brisbane, WTA Miami, and the 2024 French Open.

Best Bet to Make

These two play a lot, but they don’t play three sets very often. Only two of their seven matches have gone to a third set. They’ve only gone over 20 games thrice, as well. The vast majority of their games are played quick, fast, and in a hurry. Give me the under on 20 games for 1.95 on 10Bet.

That being said, Under 20 games is a value bet for sure

Value bet/best odds: Under 20 games @1.95 @10Bet

Svitolina – Andreeva: Time 02:00

H2H: 0-1

Our featured match is Elina Svitolina vs Mirra Andreeva. The only match these two played was last year at WTA Indian Wells. Their quarterfinal match ended with Andreeva winning in straight sets after winning the first by a tiebreak. Svitolina is 8-0 with a title at WTA Auckland, beating Xinyu Wang in the final. Andreeva is 9-1 with a tournament title at WTA Adelaide and a quarterfinal at WTA Brisbane.

Best Bet to Make

Svitolina is the underdog in this match by about 2-1. I like Svitolina’s chances so much that my pick is taking her straight for 2.7 on Unibet. This match really could go either way and is perfect for some upset fun. Be mindful of how much you wager, but the return in combination with the player is simply too good.

That being said, Svitolina winning is a value bet for sure
