HARTFORD, Mich. — UPDATE: The highway has reopened, MDOT said just after 3:45 p.m.

A portion of I-94 in Van Buren County is shut down Friday afternoon because of a crash, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
The crash happened on westbound I-94 near the Hartford exit. MDOT first reported that the right lane was blocked at 1:25 p.m., but announced the total closure just after 2 p.m.
Traffic is being diverted off the highway, per an MDOT camera in the area.
