‘We’re still moving’: TTC delayed and diverted, but not down
Transit in the city is doing better than expected given the circumstances, TTC spokesperson Stuart Green told CBC’s Metro Morning early Monday.
He said there are fewer buses stuck than in a normal snowstorm, and streetcar and bus routes are getting around OK, with city crews prioritizing them.
Still, he said commuters who need to go out should check for delays and diversions, and leave lots of extra travel time.
“We’re still moving,” Green said. “It’s a record-setting storm, and it’s always hard to deal with these sorts of things in real time, but we’re doing our level best.”
