U.S. President Donald Trump said he is sending his “tough but fair” border czar Tom Homan to Minnesota.
“He has not been involved in that area, but knows and likes many of the people there,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
“Tom is tough but fair, and will report directly to me.”
Homan is seen as a potential rival to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, who is under pressure over the deadly clashes between federal immigration enforcement officers and protesters.
