Some notes, numbers from official 2026 Senior Bowl weigh-in

The Panini Senior Bowl has released official heights and weights for players in this year’s game in Mobile, and there were a few eye-openers on the list.

Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia checked in a 5-foot-9 7/8 and 198 pounds. He was officially listed by the Commodores at 6-feet, 207 (it’s not uncommon for players to lose weight during post-season training, but Pavia’s height — or lack thereof — is definitely notable for a pro quarterback prospect).

Among in-state players, the biggest discrepancy was Alabama defensive end LT Overton, who checked in at 6-2 ¾, 278. The Crimson Tide listed him at 6-5 on its roster.

Auburn offensive lineman Jeremiah Wright was the heaviest player on the roster at 340 pounds (he was actually listed by the Tigers at 348). He’s a legit 6-5 in height, however, just as listed.

The shortest player in this year’s game also has an in-state connection. LSU receiver Aaron Anderson — who spent his freshman year at Alabama — is 5-foot-7 ½ and 177 pounds (listed at 5-8, 188 on the Tigers’ roster).

The tallest player in the 2026 Senior Bowl is Texas A&M offensive lineman Dametrious Crownover at 6-foot-6 7/8 (and 331 pounds). The Aggies listed him at 6-7, 330.

Both Wright and Crownover are likely to be “bumped” once Miami offensive lineman Markel Bell arrives in Mobile. Bell — a late add to the game who was apparently experiencing weather-related travel difficulties Monday — is listed at 6-9, 345.

The lightest player in this year’s game is Missouri wide receiver Kevin Coleman, who is a mere 174 pounds on a 5-11 1/8 frame.

Here are the official measurements for the other 2026 Senior Bowl quarterbacks: Luke Altmyer, Illinois (6-1 ¼, 210); Taylen Green, Arkansas (6-6, 229); Garrett Nussmeier, LSU (6-1, 202); Cole Payton, North Dakota State (6-2 3/8, 229); Sawyer Robertson, Baylor (6-3 5/8, 221). All the other quarterback heights were accurate to within an inch or so.

James Brockermeyer, C, Miami (Alabama transfer) — 6-3 1/8, 297

Romello Height, LB, Texas Tech (Auburn transfer) — 6-2 3/8, 234

Scooby Williams, LB, Texas A&M (Ramsay) — 6-2 1/8, 217

The Senior Bowl did not post other common scouting measurements such as hand size, “wingspan” and arm length, as in years past. The Senior Bowl weigh-in stopped being open to the media after COVID.

Practices for the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl run Tuesday-Thursday at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile. The Senior Bowl game is set for 1:30 p.m. Central on Saturday, with television coverage on NFL Network.
