Ne-Yo and Akon announce Glasgow date as part of massive UK tour

R&B superstars Ne-Yo and Akon are set to perform at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow this spring.

The chart-topping artists will take to the West End arena on Tuesday, April 28, as part of their co-headlining Nights Like This 2026 global tour, which will see the pair bring their era-defining hits to audiences across the UK and Europe.

The Glasgow date forms part of a major arena run kicking off in Dublin before heading to cities including Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and London.

Grammy award-winning hitmaker Ne-Yo and Grammy award-winning multi-platinum recording artist Akon will share the stage throughout the night, delivering a unique back-and-forth set packed with songs that dominated radio, nightlife and pop culture throughout the 2000s.

Fans can expect Ne-Yo classics such as So Sick, Closer and Miss Independent, alongside Akon anthems including Smack That, Lonely and Right Now (Na Na Na).

The Nights Like This tour is billed as a full-scale throwback party, blending slow jams and club anthems into one celebratory night designed to appeal to longtime fans and new listeners alike.

Ne-Yo had previously performed at the Hydro in 2024, where he performed alongside fellow US singer Mario.

Tickets for the Glasgow show will be available via artist presale from 10am on Wednesday, January 28, with general sale going live at 10am on Friday, January 30.

VIP packages will also be available, offering premium tickets and exclusive experiences for fans attending the OVO Hydro date.
